Chiropractor
An Oregon native, Dr. Aesha Marie Carrillo attended Portland State University and Seattle Pacific University before earning her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the University of Western States in Portland. Dr. Aesha pursued a career in chiropractic after sustaining injuries from a car accident. The benefits she experienced from alternative care inspired her to become a chiropractic assistant in Beaverton. This experience led her to change her major from pre-med to human anatomy & physiology, ultimately becoming a chiropractor.
During graduate school, she developed a passion for pediatrics, perinatal care, and women’s health, and continues to specialize in these areas. Additionally, as a former powerlifter, she has a keen interest in helping athletes optimize their performance by addressing musculoskeletal concerns. Dr. Aesha takes a comprehensive approach to patient care, considering not only the neuromusculoskeletal system but also mental health, nutrition, and overall well-being. Trained in both manual and instrument-assisted joint manipulation and various soft tissue techniques, she tailors her treatments to meet each patient's unique needs.
In her spare time, Dr. Aesha enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband, daughter, and two dogs. She loves exploring Oregon's diverse food and drink scene, singing, playing guitar, and reading sci-fi and fantasy novels.

Office and Billing Manager
Cierra is our Office Manager; you’ll see her behind the front desk and talk to her over the phone! Cierra has worked in many different industries in her 27 years, but this office has by far been her favorite. From slinging pizzas to supervising retail to working in a psych ward, Cierra’s employment experience is expansive. What she loves about working at Laurelhurst Chiropractic is the family feel of the office, not only with her co-workers but also with the patients. One of Cierra’s favorite parts about her employment here is getting to know everyone personally.
Cierra’s first chiropractic care experience was when she was 12. She was roller skating for her birthday when a conga line ended with her broken tailbone. She went to the chiropractor and received an adjustment that left her feeling like a new person. She could sit and walk without pain; it was amazing! Cierra’s favorite form of self-care is massage therapy. She feels lucky to be in a workplace where she has two very skilled massage therapists just steps away!
